10th November 2006 Windsurfing: Rhosneigr Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F7 Surf / Sea State: Waves Air Temperature: 12 Sea Temperature: Weather: cloudy/drizzle Max Speed: Distance Covered: Broke 370 mast waterstarting on second run out - long swim back but managed to avoid damage to sail. Took ages to re-rig sail with 400 mast and by then the wind was really vicious. Changed down to 69 litre board but could not get settled. Took a break and went back out; wind had dropped a little and swung round a little more on-shore - water seemed smoother between the waves. Managed some decent runs and backside riding - made the day worthwhile - just need to sort out a new mast (skinny?). |
